Kelly Ochocki, BA

ADVANCED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING INTERN, INDIVIDUAL THERAPIST

I have experience working with adolescents and adults in outpatient therapy, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. I am passionate in helping individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, emotion dysregulation, suicidal ideation, self-harm, life transitions, and relational or self-esteem issues. I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention, and I incorporate elements of related modalities (e.g. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices) to provide a therapy that is tailored to each individual’s needs. I am currently a Master’s level Practicum Student and am receiving supervision from Maria Trenda.

I believe a strong therapeutic alliance is essential in our work together, and I use a humanistic and person-centered approach to build this relationship with you. Using curiosity and understanding, I seek to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where we can explore the barriers bringing you into therapy and collaboratively work towards your individualized goals. I am dedicated to honoring your unique identities and expertise on your own experience while delivering high-quality and evidence-based treatments that promote healing, support self-discovery, and empower you to live a life aligned with your personal values. Whether you are seeking to expand your toolkit of skills to better manage your symptoms, navigate new or chronic life stressors, or explore your sense of self and increase life satisfaction, I would be honored to join you on your journey.
