Mind Matters Collective is welcoming applications from a pre-licensed therapist seeking to grow an active caseload within a collaborative outpatient setting.

This opportunity is well suited for a clinician who is organized, proactive, and self-directed. An individual who communicates clearly and respectfully, take initiative in their development, and follow through consistently. Experience within MMC’s areas of specialty is a strong plus.

This Opportunity Is Ideal For

A clinician seeking to build and maintain an active caseload of around 18+ client sessions per week

  • Flexibility to provide both in-person and virtual sessions

  • Openness to working with children, adolescents, and adults, with autonomy on population distribution.

  • Commitment to expanding access to care, including openness to accepting most major insurance plans including Minnesota Medical Assistance (MA)

  • Comfort practicing independently within a collaborative clinical community

  • Clear, direct, and kind professional communication style

  • Required to maintain compliance with insurance contracts, documentation standards, and ethical guidelines governing clinical practice.

Role Overview

Pre-Licensed Therapists at Mind Matters Collective provide outpatient psychotherapy within their scope of practice and LPCC licensure track, delivering thoughtful, ethical, and clinically sound care.

Providers maintain responsibility for assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and ongoing clinical growth while practicing within a collaborative and supportive setting.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling

  • Currently pursuing LPCC licensure in Minnesota and receiving supervision

  • Minimum one year of outpatient or group practice experience preferred

Preferred experience may include:

  • Previously worked with adolescents and adults

  • Knowledge in trauma-informed modalities (CPT, PE, DBT, TF-CBT, Somatic approaches, etc.)

  • Knowledge in supporting Neurodivergence (ADHD/ASD)

  • Knowledge in ERP, CBT, I-CBT, DBT, EFT, and/or ACT

  • Experience serving underserved or higher-acuity populations
