INDIVIDUAL THERAPIST

In therapy, I invite you to come as you are. At the heart of my practice is a belief that healing happens when we finally feel safe enough to do so. I understand this needs trust, so I prioritize warmth, curiosity, and collaboration, keeping our therapeutic alliance centered in our work together. I am grounded in a whole-person approach and seek to understand you in the context of your experiences, relationships, values, and cultures, as I am dedicated to honoring your unique identities and expertise on your own experience.

I am passionate about helping people recover from trauma, anxiety, OCD, emotion dysregulation, depression, relational strain, low self-esteem, chronic stress, and grief and loss. I have a particular interest in supporting individuals with goals focused on addressing ADHD, perfectionism, and interpersonal challenges (e.g. communication, boundary-setting, connection).

Throughout my career, I’ve gained experience working in a variety of mental health settings including research, intensive day treatment and partial hospitalization programs, and outpatient therapy. Over time, I’ve developed a therapeutic style that is guided by an emotion-focused and process-based lens, and I often incorporate psychoeducation, self-compassion, mindfulness, grounding, and nervous system regulation.

I value knowledge and flexibility, which means I enjoy drawing from my training in evidenced-based modalities to integrate high-quality treatments that best fit you and your needs. In therapy, this may look like using practical tools to help manage symptoms and create stability in your healing, while also exploring deeper patterns, in order to get to the root of your concerns and achieve lasting change. I love helping my clients to explore what’s keeping them stuck, uncover and understand their needs, and feel empowered, resourced, and fully present in their mind and bodies.

As you take the next steps in your healing journey, I hope to meet you and provide you with company!

I am currently pre-licensed and am receiving supervision from Michelle Young, LPCC and Kelly Haase, LMFT.
